The “CanNeed BPT-2 Bottle Ramp Pressure Tester” is an advanced testing instrument for pressure testing glass containers. Pressure test containers to a predefined pressure point (proof testing) or to destruction. The BPT-2 Bottle Ramp Pressure Tester is ergonomically designed for easy operation and maintenance, and fully conforms to international test requirements.
The “CanNeed BPT-2 Bottle Ramp Pressure Tester” is applicable to different kinds of glass bottles which request for pressure resistance. Like beer bottles, transfusion bottles, wine bottles and beverage bottles, etc.
Testing
The “CanNeed BPT-2 Bottle Ramp Pressure Tester” uses the fluid replacement method to increase the inner pressure of bottles. During the testing, servo motor drives the piston of the pressure cylinder to pump the fluid into the pre-filled sample to increase its inner pressure, compressed air is not necessary.
There are two testing modes of the tester:
A. Linearity Pressurizing Testing Mode
To increase the pressure linearly under the speed of 0.4Mpa/sec. until reached the predefined pressure (proof testing) or until it burst. This testing mode is good to substitute the pressure hold testing mode, it can not only ensured the unique of destruction testing data, but also sharply increased the testing speed. (If the pressure was predefined to 1.6 Mpa, it takes only 4 seconds to finish a test)
B. Pressure Hold Testing Mode
Increase the pressure rapidly and hold the pressure for 60 seconds, then depressurize rapidly.
Before starting the test, pre-fill the sample with water, place the sample on the clamp and close the prevention shield, then start the test. On the touch screen, it will display the real time testing pressure and lock the finishing pressure (proof test) or burst test (destruction test). Users can predefine the target pressure through the touch screen.
